Education is very significant. Having education is not just about studying and getting good marks, but it means to discover new things which we do not know about and also to increase our knowledge. In addition, a person becomes perfect with education as he or she is not only gaining something from it, but also contributing to the growth of a nation. An educated person has the ability to differentiate between right or wrong. It is the foremost responsibility of a society to educate its citizens. Likewise, Senior high school is implemented by the Department of education in order to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, prepare the students for tertiary education, to develop the skills in different tracks like Academic track and to be globally competitive.

By the way, I am Janmar King H. Javier, 16 years of age, Grade 11 Student, native and resident of Dapdap, Tangalan, Aklan, fortunately. I belong to the K-12 curriculum which was proposed by the DepEd. Well, being a Senior High School Student is not easy for me. However, it won't be hard if we are optimistic and innovative person. In this curriculum, I have a lot of expectations. Honestly, I don't have a doubt when it comes to K-12 program. In fact, I really like it because it is really a big help for all the Filipinos.

I woke up and jumps out of my bed then drags myself out of the living room. I went to the kitchen area to cook my breakfast.  When I finished with my breakfast, Obviously, I took a bath then dressed myself. When my cousin and I ride in the tricycle, we discussed about our expectations about the first day of school. We both enjoyed that conversation, we laughed so hard and suddenly the tricycle stopped. I ascended heading towards my classroom and as I expected, I have seen many of my former classmates in junior high taking the same track that I have chosen which is the General Academic Track. I felt glad to see their faces again. As I expected, We began our first day by introducing ourselves. Actually, most of our classes discussed about the Senior High School. I listened carefully because I'm still confused about it and in order for me to understand. I then went home as we finished our first day of being a first Senior High School student.
